Jamshedpur, Dec. 9: The Communal Harmony Week (December 2-9) at the Karim City College concluded with prize distribution on Wednesday at the college campus. Chief guest on the final day was Digambar Hansda.
The event started with SPArC team presenting a welcome song followed by a drama named �Hatyara� which made the audience ecstatic.
In the next phase, Dr. Mohammed Zakaria, principal of the college, welcomed the chief guest and thanked NSS program officer Dr. S K Anwar Ali, Syed Sajid Parwez, Nida Zakaria and other NSS volunteers for making the program a success.
This was followed by prize distribution function where Amandeep Singh and Trilok Vajpayee jointly bagged the best fundraiser award. Bharmilla Chatterjee won the award for best volunteer 2014-15.
The chief guest also felicitated Anamika Kumari, only girl from Jharkhand who was part of the Republic Day parade at Rajpath. The event was hosted by Nida Zakaria, Amit Kumar and Sakshi Singh.
Faculty members present at the event where Mohammed Riyaz, BN Tripathy, Neha Tiwari, Anwar Shadab, Mushtaq Ahmed, Aftab Ansari, Indrasen Singh, Ahmed Badr and others.
