Jamshedpur: A collision between two cars unfolded on Thursday night near the Marine Drive Dobo bridge under the jurisdiction of Sonari police station, resulting in injuries to several occupants. Quick deployment of airbags in both vehicles played a crucial role in preventing more severe consequences.
In the aftermath of the incident, it was reported that both cars involved in the collision had their airbags deployed, ultimately saving the lives of those inside. Despite sustaining minor injuries, one young man in the car suffered a broken arm. The injured individuals were promptly transported to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) for medical attention.
Upon receiving the news, the Sonari police swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Preliminary information suggests that the occupants of one of the cars were Tata Steel employees, traveling from Dobo. It appears that this vehicle was moving in the wrong direction near the bridge, leading to the collision with another car heading in the correct direction.
