Jamshedpur, July 22: A parapet of a bridge fell down after a truck collided with it near Girisdanga Hanuman temple below college in Luvkeshra at Hata-Mousabani state highway.
It has been months since the parapet of the bridge collapsed which has resulted in several road accidents.
But the commuters are still waiting for the repairing work. The truck collided with the parapet in the dark of the night and the driver managed the local police station and some officers and took away the truck but the repairing work is still pending.
The question is up in the minds of the locals of the area as to who will help repair the parapet of the bridge which is inviting accidents.
Despite several complaints, the road construction department is not bothered to help repair it. Meanwhile, dozens of trucks of IRL and UCIL pass through the bridge carrying ores all day and night.
