Gamharia: Cold waves and fog have taken over the state Capital and various parts of the state in the last couple of days.
Fog has adversely affected people in various areas and also affected movement of trains. In Ranchi, the minimum temperature was recorded in Kanke where the mercury dipped below 2 degree Celsius.
In other cities of the state, the temperature was recorded between 5 to 7 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological department sources, the cold waves will continue to his the state till next 48 hours.
