Jamshedpur: In view of the cold wave, a holiday has been declared in all schools up to class 12 in Jamshedpur and other parts of the East Singhbhum district from December 28th to 31st. The decision that has brought cheer among students and their guardians has been taken due to the increasing impact of the cold wave in the Steel City and its surroundings. In the interest of the health of the students, as per the order of District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Karna Satyarthi, all government, private, and minority schools up to class 12 operating in the district have been declared a holiday from December 28 to 31. This order has been issued as a precaution and in the public interest. All concerned school managements have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the order.
