Cocker Spaniel and Poodle steal the show in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The Jamshedpur Kennel Club is hosting the 74th, 75th, and 76th Championship Dog Show at Archery Ground in JRD Tata Sports Complex, and on the second day of the event, Saturday witnessed the staging of the All-Breed Show, attracting participants from across the country.

During this showcase, Cocker Spaniels and Labrador Retrievers, among other breeds, showcased their charisma.

Several adorable dogs also captured the attention of the audience. The Saturday turnout saw a considerable crowd, with many dog lovers attending the show.

German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Dachshunds, Chow-Chows, and numerous other breeds were on display, delighting the spectators.

The event, taking place at the JRD Tata Sports Complex’s Archery Ground, will continue until January 7. Over 386 dogs from more than 45 breeds are participating in the Jamshedpur dog show.

JKC sets the Stage for an unforgettable Dog Show extravaganza with a symphony of barks, wagging tails, and glittering eyes that speak volumes about the bond shared between man and his four-legged confidante.

Dog, man’s best friend – had not received the attention and care it deserved in the Eastern part of India, particularly in Bihar prior to April 1977. This was due to absence of any association or club of Dog lovers.

To overcome this, it was thought way back in 1977 to form a Kennel club at Jamshedpur, affiliated to the Kennel Club India Chennai.
