Ranchi, Dec. 18: Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affair �cum- Land Reforms and Revenue Minister, Mr. Amar Kr. Bauri said that Chief Minister Mr. Raghubar Das will establish a land bank in Jharkhand on 5th January 2016.
He said that the land bank will have all amenities which a man requires for opening an institution. He said that the life history of the brave martyrs of Jharkhand should be taught to the students so that they get inspired & visit this land of martyr Birsa Munda& Siddo- Kanho.
He said that the govt. has worked on inaugurating Jharkhand Thali, preparing Pilgrimage Development Authority Act 2015 for the development of Baidyanath Dham & Basukinath, establishing light & sound at Shilp ground, constructing queue-complex, classifying tourism spots, constituting Jharkhand Tourism Development Council , establishing Rajrappa temple in the line of Vaishno Devi, rejuvenating Parasnath & appointing KPMG for reporting on Patratu Valley so that it can be made a world level tourism spot.
Expressing his happiness over increasing tourism in the state, the minister said that Itkhori will be connected to Bodhgaya circuit & Bhado Festival will be organized at Maluti to attract tourism.
He said that the govt. is going to open Fine Art Academy & Art College in the state whereas an art gallery will be opened in Audrey House campus in Ranchi. He said that a 6 day Youth Festival will be organized on the anniversary of Swami Vivekanand.
Thanking the 17 member Girl Football team who brought laurels on the state by emerging winner in the National Tournament conducted at Port Blair , he said that these girls have given the state reasons to feel proud.
He informed that Jharkhand (India) has been selected for Asian Athlete Competition 2017.
