CM to inaugurate �Gift Milk� programme today

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das will be inaugurating �Gift Milk�, a unique initiative of National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) Foundation For Nutrition, to provide milk to the 12,000 students of government schools in Latehar on 21st November. The initiative would be sponsored by Rural Electrification Corporation Limited, Government of India, under its CSR scheme.
Sources said that Jharkhand Milk Federation (JMF) will provide fortified flavoured milk to the children. It will distribute 200 ml milk to each child every day.
NDDB president Dilip Rath said the NDDB and its subsidiary companies have accepted the challenge of resolving certain livelihood-related problems of rural producers in the most backward areas of Jharkhand.
