Dumka: A significant meeting focusing on the arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations in 2024 took place at the Collectorate Auditorium, chaired by Dumka District Deputy Commissioner Anjaneyulu Dodde. The Deputy Commissioner, during the meeting, outlined key details to ensure a smooth and dignified celebration of the national event.
It was announced that the Chief Minister would hoist the national flag at the Police Line Ground, the main venue of the function, at 9 am. Various departments are set to showcase vibrant tableaus as part of the festivities. The meeting also established a schedule for flag hoisting ceremonies at government offices and important locations across the district.
Ensuring the well-being of participants and attendees, Deputy Commissioner Anjaneyulu Dodde shared that the health department would have a dedicated team present at the main venue. An ambulance and a medical team equipped with essential medical facilities will also be on standby to address any health-related concerns during the Republic Day celebrations.
