Jamshedpur, August 17: Chief Minister Raghubar Das participated in the Samuhik Jalabhishek ceremony in the Sidhgora Surya temple on Monday.
The 3rd Monday of the pious month of saavan witnessed many devotees soaring to the temple to ablute the phallus of Lord Shiva.
Das was part of the common march in which he fetched water from the Swarnarekha River and offerred on the phallus of Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva is believed to be born on one of the Mondays in the month of saavan.
