CM lays foundation stone of medical college in Chaibasa

Chaibasa: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today laid the foundation stone for two colleges including a medical college and Kasturba Gandhi Gramodyog Sansthan in Hatgamharia among several other projects.

Soren inaugurated construction projects worth Rs 66 crore besides laying the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 28 crore. He also distributed loans worth Rs 2.75 crore and gave lease for 63 acres of land besides distributing 100 bicycles and 500 Kisan Credit Cards on the occasion. He later inaugurated the sub divisional office in Jagannathpur.

The CM also handed appointment letters to 10 persons selected by the health department.

Addressing the gathering, the CM said the people should pay attention to getting self employment. He said self employment could lead to creation of jobs for others.

He said the state government was doing its best to provide old age pension and land to the beneficiaries in the state. He said the government was also serious about improving education and health facilities in the state.
