CM to lay foundation of new bridge at Domuhani tomorrow

Jamshedpur, March 11: During the inauguration of the Hata-Musabani and Potka-Kudada Road at Juri Football Ground in Potka on June 7, Chief Minister Raghubar Das had announced construction of several roads in the East Singhbhum district for inter-state and inter-district connectivity and also to make the road in Jamshedpur safe by diverting the trucks and heavy vehicles directly to National Highway, instead of crossing the main city roads.

He had also announced the construction of a bridge over Domuhani at a cost of Rs 60 crore.

Acting on the same, Das will be laying the foundation stone of road projects worth Rs 255 crore at Domuhani in Marine Drive, Sonari on Sunday.

At the event, foundation will be laid for construction of four-lane high level bridge over Subarnrekha River at Domuhani, construction of Jadugora-Sundarnagar road, Rankini Mandir (Elevated Corridor), Tatanagar Railway Station-Baroda Ghat Road, Galudih-Narsinghpur Road, Dhalbhumgarh-Rautara Road, Telco Dhobi Ghat-Badabanki Road, Asanbani-Patamda Road (Patamda Link) and Kanderbera-Domuhani Road.

Jharkhand food and civil supplies minister and Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Rai, Jamshedpur MP Bidhut Barab Mahato, Ranchi MP Ramtahal Choudhary, Potka MLA Menka Sardar, Jugsalai MLA Ramchandra Sahis, Ichagarh MLA Sadhucharan Mahato, Ghatshila MLA Laxman Tudu, East SInghbhum Zila Parishad chairperson Bullu Rani Singh, Seraikela-Kharsawan Zila Parishad chairperson Shakuntala Mahali and officials of the concerned district administrations will be present on the occasion.
