Ad – Mad program brings out creativity of Mass Comm students

Jamshedpur, March 11: The Mass Communication department of Karim City College on Friday organized an Ad-Mad program wherein students were required to advertise a product selected by them in two minutes.

Ten teams participated in the event wherein Huma Soap, Liyo deo, Hunter mosquito spray, Dollar Incense stick and other products were advertised creatively.

Two to six students were in a team and they were required to advertise a product selected by them though drama. Team comprising Bidhan, Samson, Aman, Anmol and Nemaly was awarded first prize, while the team comprising Puja, Ankita, Taaseir, Ajay, Pallav and Jyoti came second.

The third prize went to team comprising Sumit, Kaustav, Suman, Soni and Shubham.

Teacher Shyam Kumar raised the morale of the students on the occasion and enlightened them about the nuances of advertising.

Shyam Kumar and Jahid Parvez were the judges at the event, while Neha Tiwary, HoD, Mass Communication, was the chief guest.

Doyel Dutta, Nida Zakaria, Syed Sajid Parvez, Farzana Begum and others were present on the occasion.
