CM instructs to prepare master plan for Deoghar & Basukinath

Ranchi, Sept 22: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Basukinath Dham should be developed in such a way that pilgrims could come here throughout the year.

The master plan for it has to be implemented in timeframe. He said that the process of Civil defense has to be made effective.

He said that the first phase of queue complex at Deoghar must be completed before Shravani Mela 2016. He said it while chairing the first meeting of Deoghar – Basukinath Shrine Board at Project Building.

The CM said that the Mansarovar pond in Devghar has to be cleaned soon & the Chanan river water will be used to retain water level of Devghar district.

Moreover, a 26 km alternative kanwaria way will be made through MGNAREGA& shady trees will be planted on either side of the roads along with making the Devghar – Basukinath road fourlane.

An additional Police station will be made for Devghar Temple & an additional out post will be made for Basukinath Dham. The state govt. will request the Railway ministry to expand travelers amenities at Jasidih & Devghar railway stations.

He appealed to members of Panda Dharma-Rakshini Sabha to conduct meeting on their own level to improve the work culture of Devghar & Basukinath temples & try to get maximum help from local civilians.

The Tourism Dept. & Devghar District Administration gave presentation regarding organizational improvement in Devghar & Basukinath temples.

The meeting comprised Tourism Minister Amar Kumar Bauri, MP Nishikant Dubey, MLA Badal Patralekh, ex- MP Abhay Kant Prasad, Chief Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Add. Chief Secretary Mr. N. N. Pandey, Police DG Mr. D.K. Pandey and others.
