Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today inaugurated the Rath Yatra ceremony at Jagannath temple, Dhurwa, and participated in the worship.
He congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Jagannath Puja and prayed for the prosperity of peace of one and all.
Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay, Hatia MLA Navin Jaisawal and other dignitaries were present on the occasion along with the deputy commissioner of Ranchi Vinay Kumar Choubey, senior superintendent of police Prabhat Kumar and other bureaucrats. A large number of devotees participated in the Rath Yatra.
