Ranchi, Nov. 29: Taking action on the complaint of a consumer regarding alleged arbitrary collection of funds by Devshikha Enterprises in Hazaribagh, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed the PDS secretary to take action against the said company as it was in controlling position.
Further, directing the Hazaribagh DC to show-cause the SDO as to why he did not take action against the company, he asked the Principal Secretary to look into the matter and file the Action Taken Report on 5th December. The CM took the measures while hearing public complaints at Soochna Bhawan during the ‘Seedhi Baat’ programme.
In connection with a complaint regarding pension not being given to Devendra Singh of Adityapur, the Water Resource Principal Secretary said that his file had been traced and his service was confirmed. Time bound promotion was also confirmed.
The CM congratulated the DC, SP and other administration officials of Dumka for conducting raids at the S P College and seizing a cache of weapons from students’ hostels. He said that the case should be probed deeply and action should be taken against the anti-social elements so that common people are not affected.
Giving a patient ear to an octogenarian, Rohit Ghosh, who complained of not getting old age pension, the CM was told that the man did not have Aadhaar number so he could not get old age pension.
The CM received a complaint from one Sandip Kumar from Lohardaga claiming that he did not get adequate compensation against land acquisition. The senior officials concerned told the CM that he is being given more than Rs 2 crores through the DC.
Replying in connection with the case of Ram Kewal Oraon of Latehar, who claimed not to have got the sanctioned loan of Rs. 4.32 lakh by the State Bank of India for poultry work, the officials said that the loan amount will be paid in a week.
In connection with the murder of one Baijnath Munda which took place 3 years ago, the CM directed the DC and police officials to sort out the matter of compensation as demanded by the relatives of the victim.
On getting complaint against alleged forgery by Arvind Paswan, the husband of Jamua panchayat’s Mukhiya, the CM asked the Palamu DC to ensure that no husband or relatives of any Mukhiya is allowed to enter the panchayat office and do any official work without authority. Such mukhiyas should be show-caused, he said.
With respect to Rs. 2000 brokerage charge in the name of managing gas connection to BPL cardholders at Barhi, Hazaribag, the CM directed the DC to inform local residents of the area that no one should get in the trap of middlemen. The government has taken a resolution to give gas connection to the BPL families, he said.
On the complaint of Pancha Oraon of Sahibganj against mukhia Lakshmi Tudu who allegedly stays at Pakur and seldom comes to her panchayat in Sahibganj, the CM said that it should be probed whether monthly gram sabha meeting is held in the village or not and the report should be submitted within 15 days.
On alleged occupation of one Bahrati Pramanik’s land for keeping things on it without paying even a penny by the government staff or officers, the officials concerned informed the CM that very soon the land will be vacated and Rs 1 lakh will be paid to him.
A Garhwa resident Sonu Singh complained that Khajuri dam is about to collapse and it should be repaired. The Water Resource Department said that it will be repaired soon.
On the complaint of demand of bribe by department officials for releasing funds for the fire fighting system installed in the conference hall of Project Building, the CM was told by the officials that the work has nine flaws due to which the NOC was not given to the work.
Mithilesh Kumar of Ranchi complained that Jharkhand State Housing Board is not willing to give the allotted people houses or plots.
The MD said that Mithilesh Kumar has been served a show-cause notice on few points. If he answers it, the problem will be resolved. The CM asked Mithilesh Kumar to reply to the MD’s show-cause.
The CM also directed Koderma officers to remove encroachment from ‘gair majrua’ land in Koderma.
