Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das has given clarion call for Clean Jharkhand-Healthy Jharkhand.
He said that it was the top-most priority of the present government to ensure all round development of Jharkhand through carrying out initiatives for a clean and healthy Jharkhand.
Das said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had initiated Swach Bharat Abhiyan only to bring India in the rank of developed countries in the world. He was addressing a seminar �Vision for State of Clean Jharkhand� held at DPS School.
Raghubar Das said that PM�s pet project Swach Bharat Abhiyan would be successful provided average citizens take the campaign forward. �It is our obligation to make Jharkhand clean and it would be possible only when all living in Jharkhand render their responsibilities in this regard,� the CM said.
On the occasion the CM expressed his happiness over the fact that the educational institutions have joined the Clean India campaign.
He opined that quality of education in government-run schools ought to be made on par with the privately run schools. Principal of DPS Dr Ram Singh, officers from SAIL and MECON and students of the school were present at the seminar.
