Jamshedpur: Annual Day function of Binapani High School which has been adopted by DBMS at village �Dhanchatani, Jamshedpur was held today on the school premises. �
Bidyut Baran Mahato, MP of Jamshedpur and Saryu Rai, MLA, Jamshedpur West graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and as Guest of Honour respectively.
Prizes were distributed to the students who excelled in sports and academics during �the current academic year.
Six students Rajesh Mahato, Goutam Mahato, Kajal Mahato, Gita Sahis, Kalyani �Mahato and Laxmi Rani Mahato, who secured first division in Jharkhand Board Examination and nine students Kamal Mahato, Mansa Singh, Sujata Mahato, Namita Tudu, Sima Rani Dhibar, Asish Kumar Mahato, Rubi Mahato, Gita Murmu, � Kajal Singh and Anita Singh who excelled in IX class examination and are expected to secure first division in the forthcoming Board Exam were awarded a cash prixe of Rs. 500 each as grant to procure books.�
Sudha Swamy, Vice Chairperson, Wg. Cdr. PN. Swamy (Retd.), president of Tribal Education Mission of DBMS �and nearly a dozen DBMS �members worked hard to make the event a success. PN Swamy welcomed the guests and gave a brief account of what DBMS had done for the school since its adoption in 2001. �He also touched up the future plans for the school and sought help from the MP and MLA to the effect.

Bidyut Baran Mahato in his address expressed his satisfaction and happiness over the school�s functioning and assured all possible help from his side for further development of the school. �
He exhorted the students to give maximum attention to their studies which is the only way for their own progress and for the progress of the state and the country. �
Saryu Rai congratulated the students and teachers for such a great improvement they have achieved in recent years and also DBMS organization for providing necessary help and guidance to Binapani High School. ��
