Ranchi, March 27: Addressing industrialists, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that a huge number of people can be employed in small industries. He said the state government is promoting small enterprises and setting up Small and Middle Industries Board.
Das said that the women of the state are hard working and that the government is running many schemes to promote women industrialists. He said this while felicitating entrepreneurs during a state level prize distribution function organized under PMEGP.
The CM distributed prizes under eight categories. Under the Small and Middle Industries, the CM gave prizes to Precision Engineering, Micky Wire Works, Compto Ads. Private Limited Micro Metal Craft, Alcast, Jyoti Sero Rubber and Ashoka Foundry Limited under PMEGP, Har Har Gange Industries, Global Fiber Tech, DDS Enterprises and Lorry Garments were awarded.
The first prize carried a shawl and cheque of Rs. 50,000, the Second Rs. 40,000 and the third carried Rs. 25,000. Women entrepreneurs were also awarded.
Industry Secretary Sunil Kumar Barnwal was also present on the occasion along with other officials and dignitaries.
