Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed the DC and SSP of East Singhbhum to take stern measures to stop gang war in the city and arrest the perpetrators of shootout at the Civil Court premises resulting in the killing of murder case accused Upendra Singh.
Prior to his departure for Latehar at the Sonari Airport, the CM asked DC Amit Kumar and SSP Anoop T Mathew to ensure peace in the city. He asked the SSP to arrest gangsters trying to spread panic in the city and challenging the administration by committing heinous crimes.
The CM sought updates from the DC and the SSP on the progress of police investigation in the Upendra Singh murder case. He directed them to ensure adequate security at the Court.
