CM congratulates Jharkhand Police team for winning gold

Ranchi: Congratulating the Jharkhand police team who recently won gold medal in the handball competition, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Jharkhand police should keep up the good work and win many more medals for the state. Das said that the state govt. is committed to promote and boost up these types of sports as Jharkhand abounds in sports genius also.

It may be noted that Jharkhand Police won the gold medal in the 66th All India Police Volleyball Cluster Competition by defeating CRPC 29-19 at Khelgaon, Ranchi. It is the first time Jharkhand has won the competition. 36 teams of state police and para military forces participated in the championship. In the Yoga competition Jharkhand won silver medal.

Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, ADJ JAP Reji Dungdund, JAP DIG Sudhir Jha, CO JAP 1 Kusum Punia and CO JAP 10 Sandhya Rani Mehta were present on this occasion.
