Ranchi, Dec 24: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the government is seriously working in the field of skill development of the youths.
He said that a laborer can be trained as a mason and his life standard can be elevated. The CM said it at the time of signing an M.o.A. between ITI Kasmar (Bokaro) and Bokaro Steel City under CSR at Project Building. He said that the department should work to start ITI and connect private companies with it.
The CEO of Bokaro Steel Ltd. Anutosh Maitra said that the ITI is going to start its first batch from 2016. 200 trainees will be admitted every year and faculty and resources are ensured.
The Labor Secretary M.S. Bhatia said that 6 institutions including ITI Jagganathpur (Tata), ITI Manoharpur( SAIL), ITI Ichak (Usha Martin), ITI Domchanch (D.V.C.), ITI Jhikpani (A.C.C.) and ITI Gola will be run by J.S.P.L. Labour Minister Raj Paliwar, Chief Secretary Rajeev Gauba, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kr. Burnwal, MD Bokaro Steel B. Mukhopadhayay, DGM Harimohan Jha and others were present on the occasion.
