Jamshedpur: Chief Minister Hemant Soren arrived in the city to grace a function organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former deputy CM of Jharkhand late Sudhir Mahato at Shahid Nirmal Mahato Stadium, Uliyan, Kadma, on Wednesday.
He unveiled the bust of the former Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader in the presence of Savita Mahato, wife of late Sudhir Mahato, and other party leaders.
Soren inaugurated a tennis ball cricket tournament organized on the occasion. He was accompanied by state minister Champai Soren, Jai Prakash Patel, Ramdas Soren, Banna Gupta and district administration officials.
