CM asks for VCs participation in Yojana Banayo Abhiyan

Jamshedpur, Jan. 13: Appealing to the professors, principals and teaching community Chief Minster Raghubar Das said that they should ensure their participation in making plans for their areas.

He summoned people to make it a public movement and implement it in their villages/mohallas. He said it while holding a meeting with the VCs & Pro- VCs of Ranchi, Hazaribag and Kolhan Universities at Project Building.

The CM directed to give the names of professors and principals of different universities to concerned DCs so that their participation in making yojana could be ensured.

He said that every panchayat will get 70-80 lakh rupees from the 14th Finance Commission. In order to avoid misuse of funds, it is essential that the people should make their own plans & implement them. They have to remain aware. If these measures could be adopted, employment can be arranged for 4-5 lac people.

Praising the people for their remarkable participation in panchayat election, the CM said that the people have to prove their worth in making the scheme for themselves. He advocated to eliminate the role of middlemen from the system.

Principal Secretary to the CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar & RDD Principal Secretary Mr. N.N. Sinha were present in the meeting.
