CM appeals to intellectuals to spare 1 hour to educate peasants’ children

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that Netarhat and BIT, Sindri will rise to international fame.

Class IX and class X students of government schools will be given medical and engineering coaching. Education is everybody’s birthright, he said.

Das appealed to intellectuals to spare one hour to educate peasants’ children. He said it while addressing the global conference of previous students of Netarhat at CMPDI.

Underlining the potential of fabric industry, the CM said that with the establishment of this industry in the state, people will get work and migration will be checked. He said that the state is rich with natural beauty, history and culture and tourism is getting promoted.

Referring to Jharkhand as a state with ample potentials, the CM said that it has everything which it needs for development. The government is focusing on every sector including agriculture, tourism, industry and IT. He laid stress on sharing ideas for development and summoned everyone to contribute from their side. Saluting the present teachers in the programme, he said that the responsibility of re-establishing the glorious past of Netarhat lies on their shoulders.

Discussing the Establishment Day, the CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that people of the nation should know and respect all cultures and develop a sense of nationality and integrity.

Addressing the programme, Education Minister Neera Yadav said that 18,000 teachers have been appointed in primary schools and an equal number of teachers are being appointed in high schools. To promote education, technical, Raksha-Shakti and Amity University have been opened in the state.

MP B D Ram, Principal Secretary NN Sinha, Vashisth Narayan, Dr Ajay Kumar, Prayag Dubey and a good number of previous students were present in the program.
