Jamshedpur, May 19: Amidst incidents of lynching of innocent people over rumors of
child-lifting in Kolhan, Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Friday announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakhs each to the victims� kin.
He condemned the incidents and appealed to villagers not to pay heed to such rumors.
He said the administration must take immediate steps to control the situation and take action against the trouble-mongers.
Das requested people to inform the local police or the administration in case they come to know about such rumours.
