Kharge and Rahul Gandhi Lead Intensive Strategy Session for Jharkhand Congress District Presidents at Indira Bhawan

Jamshedpur: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) recently convened a high-level, one-day training program for Jharkhand’s newly appointed District Presidents at Indira Bhawan.

Chaired by National President Mallikarjun Kharge and addressed by Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, the session served as a cornerstone of the ongoing Organization Creation Campaign. The leadership focused on decentralizing authority to the grassroots level, mandating a rigorous overhaul of booth-level committees to ensure the party’s structural resilience ahead of upcoming political challenges

Addressing the gathering, Kharge emphasized that district presidents have been entrusted with decisive powers to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He underscored that enhancing organizational capacity, leadership skills, and grassroots engagement is essential for rebuilding and reinforcing the Congress structure across the country.

Gandhi called upon the district presidents to empower Block, Mandal, Panchayat, Ward, and Booth Committees, along with BLA-2s. He stressed the need to organize district-level and block-level training camps to ensure effective communication, coordination, and organizational discipline.

Gandhi also directed that party discipline must be maintained at all costs and warned that strict action should be taken against any form of indiscipline within the organization.

Among those present at the training were Jharkhand State Incharge K. Raju, State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, East Singhbhum District President Parvinder Singh, and other district presidents from across Jharkhand.

During his visit to New Delhi, District President Parvinder Singh also formally met AICC National General Secretary (Organization) K.C. Venugopal and held discussions regarding organizational matters and strategies related to East Singhbhum district.
