CM announces 2016 as appointment year

Ranchi, June 14: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said that his government has decided to celebrate 2016 as �Year of Appointments.�

He said that presently 116,000 vacancies in the state will be filled soon. These massive appointments will speed up the development and help in maintaining good governance.

According to Das, due to political instability, the previous government s could not appoint personnel on the scale they should have.

JPSC and SSC exams should have been conducted every year. This year 6th and 7th JPSC will be conducted together. Nine tribal languages have been included and the exam will be held for 150 marks.

Moreover, GK for 200 marks will also be taken which will include questions on Jharkhand apart from others subjects.

At the same time, he asked the selected candidates to be dutiful and speed up the development work.

Personnel principal secretary Nidhi Khare said that 88 persons are being given appointment letters today. These people include 15 engineers, 2 MBAs, 2 BBAs, 1 M.Phil, 19 women and four handicapped persons.

Chief secretary Rajbala Verma, additional CS N. N. Pandey, development commissioner Amit Khare, principal secretary to the CM Mr. Sanjay Kumar. and DGP D. K. Panda were present in the meeting.
