This growth trajectory positions India among the world’s fastest-growing digital economies, with significant potential for further expansion. The transformation of industries hinges on three key aspects within the cloud paradigm – accessing data and digital infrastructure, separating innovation from infrastructure, and democratizing data. These pillars are essential for fostering secure innovation within organizations. Four critical processes—campaign to order, procure to pay, hiring capabilities, and record to report—form the foundation of a robust organizational framework. He added that “Despite potential challenges, the cloud journey accelerates innovation, enhances security, and paves the way for efficient AI utilization worldwide.”

Sanjay Sabherwal, Chairman, CII Eastern Region MSME Subcommittee & Managing Director, Metalwork Industries Ltd said “In India, there are 6.4 crore MSMEs, with over 99% categorized as micro enterprises. Accelerating and innovating are crucial goals across all business sizes”. The introduction of self-owned businesses in the late 1990s revolutionized global work practices. Cloud technology offers unparalleled agility, stability, and scalability, reshaping operations for MSMEs without requiring significant upfront capital investment. This democratization of processes empowers micro enterprises to leverage IT and digitalization for business enhancement, marking a significant shift in how small businesses operate and grow.

Rohit Goyal, Director, IEMCO Industries Pvt Ltd emphasized Investing in digital capabilities as a crucial activity for Indian companies to secure long-term sustainability and growth in a digital-first world. Cloud computing and the data revolution have been instrumental in accelerating digital transformation across enterprises and governments in India, leveraging infrastructure, platforms, and software solutions. He further said cloud computing is particularly impactful for MSMEs, and its transformative advantages that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness, positioning success for future of MSMEs in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
