Jamshedpur: A fierce altercation unfolded on Friday between two eunuch groups, Shakeela and Neelu, near the ISWP Company Ground under the local police station. The dispute, which escalated into violence involving sticks and swords, led to chaos in the area. Telco police station authorities were promptly informed and quickly reached the scene to intervene.
Police efforts successfully quelled the confrontation, but not before about a dozen individuals from both Shakeela and Neelu groups sustained injuries in the clash. Among the wounded were Mahi, Riya, Koyal, Sanju, Roshni, and Kareena from the Shakeela group, and Aparna, Rosie, Riya, Ayesha, Sunaina, and Soni from the Neelu group. All injured parties were transported to MGM Hospital for necessary medical attention.
Both factions involved have filed written complaints with the Telco police station, citing an ongoing dispute related to the division of the area as the root cause of the conflict. The police are actively investigating the incident, aiming to bring clarity to the circumstances surrounding the clash and taking appropriate legal actions. The incident highlights the need for community dialogue and resolution to prevent further escalations of such disputes.
