Ranchi, June 30: Addressing the concluding function of the three-day mega camp conducted by Health Education and Family Welfare Department in collaboration with Female Doctors Wing, Jharkhand IMA, at the Community Health Center, Barhet, Sahebganj, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that civil surgeons, doctors, nurses and sahiyas should work with dedication and sincerity with a sense of service.
The camp was organized with a view to make people make aware about how to prevent anemia and cervical cancer in women.
The CM said that special care should be taken on the food of expectant women as healthy babies are born of healthy mothers.
He praised the endeavor to hold health camp for tribal women in quite remote and backward areas.
On this occasion, health minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi discussed the various works done under the leadership of Chief Minister for the development of the Santhal Pargana region.
In her welcome speech, chairman of Women Doctors Wing, IMA, Bharati Kashyap discussed the deficiency of anemia and cervical cancer in women in details.
Veteran cancer expert Dr. Ranjeet Mandal from Kolkata and his team along with the doctors of Ranchi played an important role in making the mega camp a success. �
