Jamshedpur, June 30: Bihar Association along with the employees of Rajendra Vidyalaya (RV) organized a blood donation camp at the school campus on Thursday to pay homage to Late K. N. S. Sharma, whose contribution for the growth of the institution was immense.
The camp started at 8.30 a.m. and continued till 3 p.m. K. B. Sinha, president, Bihar Association, Jamshedpur, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sinha said, “A drop of blood is boon for the innumerable patients suffering from various kinds of diseases and those who are in dire need of blood.”
The students of RV, B.A. Engineering College, parents, members of Bihar Association, staff of RV and others donated blood for this noble cause. A total of 215 units of blood was collected during the drive.
