Civil surgeon reviews anti-filariasis drive

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district civil surgeon Dr Maheshwar Prasad convened a meeting to review the anti-filariasis mass drug administration catch-up drive started by the state health department. The representatives of various organizations were invited to the meeting.

The civil surgeon said a plan had been chalked out to administer DEC and albendazole tablets to unorganized workers at their work place. The campaign was organized between 10^th April and 15^th April.
