Ranchi: The preliminary test for recruitment of civil judge (junior division) on 116 vacant posts was conducted peacefully by Jharkhand Public Service Commission on Sunday.
There were a total of 98 examination centres set up in the Capital. A total of 14,698 candidates had applied for the job, but only 9991 of them appeared in the examination.
JPSC had made elaborate arrangements for ensuring free and fair conduct of the exam. Magistrates were deputed at all examination centres along with sufficient number of police personnel.
