Jamshedpur : Holi celebrations have begun in the steel city with the youngsters taking the lead as usual.
Students of various city schools and colleges have already started soaking each other in coloured waters and smearing gulals on the faces of their loved ones in classroom and outside.
However some of the Holi enthusiasts taking the CBSE exams find the timing rather too, unfavourable as they are required to take some of the papers after Holi.
They feel celebrating the festival with the classmates before graduation will be a memorable Holi and a celebration of a life- time for them.
But never mind, Holi is not as much about dates as it is about the undaunted spirit to celebrate life by soaking in its myriad and vibrant colours.
“Exams are crucial, but I also cannot ignore celebrations as it is going to be an experience which I am surely going to cherish for the rest of my life,” said Soumya, a student of a CBSE-affiliated school in the city.
