City SP chairs meeting to ensure law and order, traffic management in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 5: A comprehensive review meeting was convened by the Superintendent of Police, City, with all Deputy Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic, and all police station in-charges, including those responsible for traffic management on Friday. The meeting focused on ensuring smooth law and order maintenance and traffic management in light of the upcoming Hindu New Year, Eid ul Fitr, and Sarhul festival.

During the meeting, necessary guidelines were issued to ensure the efficient handling of law and order situations and traffic flow during these festive occasions.

Additionally, under the leadership of the Superintendent of Police, City, and in collaboration with the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic, and Deputy Superintendent of Police, City, a special campaign was conducted against encroachments, illegal parking, and traffic jams in the areas under the jurisdiction of Sakchi police station.

The campaign aimed to alleviate congestion on roads and enhance traffic management. Foot patrolling was carried out to foster better coordination among law enforcement agencies and the general public in maintaining order and ensuring smooth traffic flow.
