Jamshedpur, Aug 8: D.B.M.S. English School is hosting the CISCE Regional Volleyball Tournament (Girls) 2025 on August 7 and 8, where teams from Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Bhagalpur zones competed in Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories.
The tournament was inaugurated on August 7 at D.B.M.S. English School. Priyanka Singh, Deputy Election Officer, East Singhbhum, was the Chief Guest. She inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp and hoisting the CISCE Sports Flag. She was accompanied by Zonal Coordinator Priti Sinha and Rajani Shekhar, Principal of D.B.M.S. English School and Treasurer of CISCE Bihar-Jharkhand Region.
Prachi, a promising player from the Jamshedpur zone, took the sportsmanship oath. Students of the host school presented a soulful prayer song and a yoga display that highlighted strength, grace, and balance.
In her welcome address, Principal Rajani Shekhar encouraged participants to perform with dedication and sportsmanship. The Chief Guest, Priyanka Singh, inspired the students with a motivating speech urging them to aim for excellence. Archana Ramesh, Secretary of the School Managing Committee, presented a memento to the Chief Guest as a token of appreciation.
The tournament kicked off with high energy as teams took to the court, showcasing teamwork, skill, and competitive spirit across two thrilling days.
