CII Young Indians join hands with Roshni to provide sight to the blind

Jamshedpur, September 6: CII Young Indians has joined hands with Roshni, a city based organisation which has been working in the area of eye donation for years, to make people aware of eye donation and help provide vision to the blind.

At Sakchi Eye Hospital several members of CII Young Indians pledged eye donation and along with Roshni vowed to run eye donation awareness campaigns. At the event President of CII Young Indians Tapas Sahu, District Governor of Lions International Rajnish Kumar, Aruna Taneja and Parvinder Singh of Roshni were present.

Significantly, fortnightly eye donation awareness is being observed from August 25 to September 8.

Roshni has been involved in eye donation awareness for several years and has provided eyes to several blind by harvesting the corneas of the deceased.

Now CII Young Indians has also joined the campaign and both the organisations will jointly visit door to door and organise awareness programmes during the 6 months.
