Jamshedpur: CII Jharkhand Annual Day held on March 5, 2015 at Jamshedpur�with a session on�CEO�s�Roundtable on Ease of Doing Business � Focus Jharkhand.
Discussion on�Various initiatives taken by the Central�and State Government to facilitate ease of doing business�was the agenda. Benefits to the industry including policy initiatives from the State�Government to attract new investment in the state were�also the part of the discussion.
TV Narendran,�Chairman, CII Jharkhand State Council & Managing Director, Tata Steel Ltd elaborated on the existing policy bottlenecks and efforts made to ease the policy framework to facilitate ease of doing business.�
Ranaveer Sinha,�Past Chairman, CII Eastern Region & Managing Director, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co Ltd emphasized on various policy initiatives taken by the Central Government to ease out the process of doing business.
He also highlighted the work done with CII and West Bengal Government to facilitate Ease of Doing Business.�
SK Behera, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Eastern region and VC & Managing Director, RSB Transmission (P) Ltd elaborated on the efforts made by CII and Government of Jharkhand including the Joint Task Force which has been formed to develop �a framework to support Ease of Doing Business.
The session was followed by the Launch of�Young Indians Jharkhand Chapter�which was attended by the CII members, young entrepreneurs and professionals of the city.
Young Indians�(Yi) is an integral part of the CII and was formed in 2002 with an objective to creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation.
It has around 1800 active members in 34 city chapters across 23 states and engages around 11000 students through its institutional network under its brand �Yuva�. The membership of Yi includes young progressive Indians in the�age group of 21-40�years and consists of entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life.
Yi initiates and organizes around 550 activities in a year impacting close to 6 lakh people.
Yi Jharkhand is the 37th Chapter of Young Indians.�
Vishal Kumar Agarwall, Director- Company Development, CTC (India) Pvt Ltd was announced Founder�Chair of Yi Jharkhand Chapter�whereas�Tapas Kumar Sahu, Executive Director & CEO, Highco Engineers Pvt Ltd Founder Co Chair of Yi Jharkhand Chapter.
