Jamshedpur: Swadeshi Mela being organized by Centre for Bharatiya Marketing Development (CBMD) will be inaugurated today at Gopal Maidan.
Saryu Roy, minister of civil supply, Jharkhand will inaugurate the fair which is going to be held from March 8 to March 15, convener of the fair Manoj Kumar Singh said during a press meet.
More than 300 stalls would be set up at the fair where Home-made products would be displayed, he said, adding Swadeshi Mela is organized to promote products made in India.
More than 200 handicraft stalls, real estate stalls, furniture outlets, hand-woven garments, stalls of education institutes and products from all over the country would be showcased in the fair.
A pavilion of medicinal plants and green vegetables would also be put up at the fair.
Pavilions of different companies and auto-manufacturing enterprises would also find a place in the fair.
