Church School and DAV NIT girls win Jogga handball championship

Jamshedpur: Jogga girls inter school handball championship hosted by Kasidih High School concluded on Wednesday. Church School Bedlih girls won the championship in the senior category and DAV NIT was declared the winners in the junior category. In the finals of the senior category played on Wednesday Church School girls defeated DBMS Kadma by 2-1. In the third place match St. Mary’s Hindi School beat Tarapore Agrico.
In the junior category final DAV NIT defeated Church School 2-0 to win the championship. In the third place match Sacred heart Convent girls beat DBMS Kadma. Earlier in the semi finals DAV beat DBMS and Church School defeated Sacred Heart Convent to make a place in the finals. The tournament was successfully organised by Khurshid Khan, sports teacher and technical director of Kasidih High School.
