Chitragupt puja to be a simple affair in Jamshedpur, no immersion procession

Jamshedpur, Nov 1: Akhil Bhartiya Kayasth Mahasabha, Jamshedpur on Sunday held a meeting at Chitragupt Bhawan. Chitragupt samiti members from Sonari, Kadma, Bistupur, Bagbera, Old Baridih, Baridih basti, Agrico, Golmuri, Saatchi, Parsudih, Vijaya Heritage, Telco, Mango, Govindpur, Rahargora attended the meeting. The meeting focused on conduct of puja and immersion during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was decided to hold puja with simplicity and no immersion procession will be taken out. Cultural programme and community lunch will also be prohibited. The meeting was presided over by senior district vice president Dr Manoj Kumar Sinha. 14 members of the samiti lost their lives during the pandemic. At the end two-minute silence was observed for the departed soul. Also present at the meeting were Shyam Bihari Lal, Subodh Srivastav, Ajay Srivastav, Ajay Verma, Atul Chandram, Shami Srivastav, Shashank Shekhar, Santosh Sinha, Nishant Shekhar, Vikrant Shekhar, Harsh Sinha, Aalok Kumar Sinha, Sudhir Kumar, Binay Kumar, Narendra Kumar Prasad, Tara Chand Srivastav, Sanjay Sahay and others were present. ������������
