Jamshedpur, April 8: Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park Bistupur hosted the Ramcharitmanas Sunderkand Path in the school premises on Saturday.
Students from class 1 to 6 recited the Kanthast path of Sunderkand. Earlier, the religious programme was inaugurated jointly by School Principal Mikki Singh, singing teacher T Ishwar Rao along with judges for the competition Baby Prasad, Sunita, Rajeshwari, Pushpa by paying tribute to Gurudev Swami Chinmayanand, founder of Chinmaya Mission.
On the occasion principal Mikki Singh in her speech said, Sri Ramcharitmanas is the sacred holy book when it comes to save the relation in the family where every character teaches us discipline.
Ramcharitmanas also helps us to increase mutual understanding and feeling of dedication towards others which is needed the most today in the society.
Principal also extended best wishes towards the participants of various competition. Students recited the Kanthast path which made the audience spell bound. The singing teacher of the school T Ishwar Rao played a vital role in making the participants work hard from the beginning till the end of the competition.
In group A for participants from class 1 to 3-Akarshan bagged the first prize, Namit Raj was second while Shresth Raj was third. In group B for participants from class 4 to 6, Kalyani Pandey was first followed by Vidya and Aryan Sharma.
