Jamshedpur: The vibrant and energetic students of Loyola School in Bistupur had an unforgettable Children’s Day celebration, filled with laughter, entertainment, and a touch of magic.
The junior school students were treated to a delightful entertainment program curated by their dedicated teachers. Dressed in casuals, the children immersed themselves in the celebration dedicated to embracing the joys of childhood. The day commenced with a prayer, seeking divine blessings, led by the Rector, Fr. K.M. Joseph.

A heartfelt tribute to the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, marked the beginning of the festivities. The Rector, Fr. Principal, Vice Principal Senior Section, Vice Principal Junior Section, and Headmaster Hindi School paid homage by garlanding Nehru’s picture.
Fr. Vinod Fernandes, the Principal, addressed the students, emphasizing the significance of Children’s Day. The highlight of the day was a mystical performance where Mrs. Vineeta F. Ekka, Vice Principal Junior Section, magically brought Chacha Nehru to life on stage. The children enjoyed a heart-to-heart conversation with their beloved Chacha Nehru, adding a magical touch to the celebration.
The entertainment continued with teachers donning student avatars in advertisements, dances, and songs, captivating the children with their creativity. The students were enthralled by the enchanting program put together by their teachers.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the Vice Principal Junior Section, expressing gratitude for the joyous day. The children left school with smiles, having thoroughly enjoyed the festivities.
Meanwhile, the senior school students embarked on their annual class picnic, exploring various resorts in and around the city. From Wave International to Hill View, Tenth Milestone, Golden Leaf, Imperial Resort, and Mukta Dhara Nature Resort in Ghatsila, the students had a memorable time filled with fun, music, dance, and indulging in delicious meals. The day was a perfect blend of camaraderie and relaxation, creating lasting memories for the students and their teachers alike.
