Childline Centre set to reopen at Tatanagar Station

Jamshedpur, June 23: Following directives from the district administration, railway officials at Tatanagar station are actively seeking a suitable location on platform number one to reopen a Childline centre. This initiative aims to address the needs of children who have strayed from their families or run away from home.

Childline volunteers have been actively patrolling the station for the past two weeks, identifying and assisting children in need. Previously, a Childline centre operated at Tatanagar station from May 2018 to September 2023, during which period more than two thousand children were successfully reunited with their families by dedicated volunteers.
