Seraikela : The Chhau Nritya Mahotsav, the biggest festival in Seraikela was inaugurated�on Saturday�by Kariya Munda, member of parliament from Khunti.
More than 5000 visitors came to see the dance performances at the Bhagwan Birsa Munda stadium in Seraikela.�
Chhau was born in Seraikela when one guru from the royal palace went to Purulia and developed a new style and other went to Mayurbhanj in Odisha.
From there the forms started. So we need more attention so that we can groom the dance form with more professionalism and innovation.
