Chhattisgarh artists showcase talent at Confluence – III

Jamshedpur, Dec. 12: Artists from Chhattisgarh under the banner of Shilp Varsha Art and Research Society, Durg, are exhibiting their aesthetic talent at the ongoing art meet �Confluence – III,� being organized at the Off the Wall art gallery in Sakchi from December 11 to 13.

A total of 52 modern and tribal artists are participating at the art exhibition, wherein young artists from Chhattisgarh are displaying their talent.

Rajendra Sungariua, secretary of Shilp Varsha Art and Research Society, said, �Tribal art of Chhattisgarh is world famous and the artists here are also making fine and modern art. New styles of art are also being exhibited.�

Every year the exhibition is held in different cities of the country and this time it is being held in Jamshedpur.

The exhibition will conclude at Raipur on December 22, said Sungariua, adding that it is the only regular exhibition of the state where artists from Sudur district of Chhattisgarh along with artists of fine and tribal art jointly participate.
