Jamshedpur: Chhathiyar ceremony was organized at Goswami Laxminath Paramhans Hanuman Mandir at Chhota Govindpur on Saturday.
Many women from the locality participated in the event. They sang traditional songs and played musical instruments in praise of Lord Krishna.
A float was also set up for the occasion with beautifully decorated �Bal Gopal� as the chief attraction. Earlier, the priest of the temple Dashrath Tiwary worshipped Lord Krishna and pulled his �jhula� along with other devotees. Prasad was distributed in the end.
Among others present on the occasion included Arvind Sahu, Neera Devi, Vimla Devi, Anita Devi, Renu Devi, Sangita Devi and Seema Prasad.
