Chaibasa, Nov. 18: Four-day long festival of Chhath concluded on Wednesday.
The festival was celebrated with great fervour as thousands of devotees at Gua, Kiriburu, Noamundi, Badajmda, Chakradharpur and Chaibasa gave their final offering to the rising Sun on Wednesday morning.
After offering their obeisance to the sun god, prashad was distributed among the people and wished each other for their wellbeing.
The river ghats was reverberated with the devotional songs of the festival.
The festival of chhath is believed to be the tough devotional penances as the devotees remain on fast observing strict rules of sanctity during these four days.
