Seraikela: Chhath was celebrated with great enthusiasm in different parts of Seraikela.
A large number of devotees visited various ponds, river banks and reservoirs at Kudarsahi, Jagannath Ghat, Majnaghat and Pampu pond of Sini on Wednesday and Thursday to offer ardhya (obeisance) to the Sun God.
Every year, devotees clean the ghats and level the path leading to them. District administration had made elaborate arrangements for the devotees at different Chhath ghats.
